NEAR Protocol (NEAR), one of the highest performance blockchain and chain abstraction stack with AI focus, has partnered with the AI and Social focused Open Information Layer, RSS3, to scale AI decentralized applications (DApps) of the RSS3 ecosystem.

The partnership aims to scale the AI capabilities of the RSS3 ecosystem, including decentralized AI agents, autonomous decentralized finance (DeFi) applications and AI-powered on-chain content generation.

The integration of the NEAR Data Availability (NEAR DA) layer with RSS3’s AI focused Value Sublayer (VSL) blockchain advances the functionalities and performance of AI-DApps (Artificial Intelligence decentralized applications) built on RSS3, enabling higher throughput. NEAR DA approximates a huge blob space of 4,096kb per transaction, which is particularly advantageous for AI projects that need to handle large amounts of data to scale users.

This collaboration commences as the RSS3 ecosystem approaches a major Mainnet Beta upgrade that will enable more features of its decentralized node infrastructure and further upgrade the performance of its VSL - as the very first dual-layer ecosystem to offer unmatched performance and frameworks for AI DApp builders.
